Class Reviews here!
To all potential students:
If you want the bare minimum State requirements in order to complete your LTC class, then my LTC class definitely is not for you!
Instead of the state mandated minimal requirements, my class is much more! I will cover many examples what to do when attacked in the street as well as at home. I will teach you a proper defensive mindset and “deselect” you and your families from an attack. Although these topics will not be on the test, the knowledge may save you and your family members one day. This is why my class is 8+ hours instead 5-6 hours.. Go to here, to see it. In fact,
Why you need a LTC with Constitution Carry?
With the passing of Constitution Carry law in Texas, many people had asked me what are some reasons they should still obtain/maintain their license to carry permit. I came up 8 reasons below:
1. Reciprocity with 38 other States.
2. Instant purchase of guns without background check
3. Learn the current Texas gun laws
4. Law enforcement will know you are not a criminal
5. Some Open Carry States (such as NM) will require a LTC/CCW in order to conceal carry
6. Carry within 1,000’ of schools
7. Without a LTC you can’t go to UTEP and EPCC while carrying
8. Businesses posted below no-gun signs where LTC holders have a defense against prosecution.
Per DPS requirements, students can either take one, full-day In-Person LTC class (lecture and shooting test-you are at the right webpage) or an On-Line class plus the LTC-101 Completion class (two classes total).
In-Person LTC class and LTC-101 Completion class are held at a private climate-controlled indoor range in the Upper Valley area. Class size is limited due to COVID-19
Beginning in 2016, Texas legislature changed Texas Concealed Handgun License (CHL) to Texas License to Carry (LTC)
Question about your eligibility? Please go to page 5, GC §411.172 of the Texas License to Carry Laws posted by Texas Depart of Public Safety
