One of the most important equipment you will need for the class is a stiff, minimal twistable, weight-bearing gun belt (think of heavy-duty tool belt)  It is designed to hold your gun, holster, magazines and mag pouches in the  exact same place during your training.  There are hundreds fine gun belts on the market, below are the sturdy gun belts I recommend:
